15 - 18 years old Boys League
Embark on an exclusive journey of athletic development with our League, a unique opportunity designed for individuals aged 15 to 18 as of June 6, 2024. This isn't just another sports opportunity; it's a transformative experience focused on instilling values of punctuality, fairness, and teamwork.
At the heart of the League lies a commitment to fostering leadership, teamwork, and skill development. Our nine-player teams, comprising six on the court and three substitutes, ensure fair play and equal participation. Sessions run every Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, immersing athletes in six 15-minute games. Each game introduces a new starting position and group of athletes, promoting versatility and adaptability.
Age determination is based on June 6 promoting inclusivity within specific age categories. The League challenges athletes to push their limits, emphasizing personal growth and elevating teammates. A coveted "royalty of the court" title awaits the individual who accumulates the most points over the eight weeks (3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and no points for a loss).

It's essential to note that the League operates on a no-age-group-changing policy. Missing a week means no points, and refunds are not provided, reinforcing the commitment to personal responsibility and accountability.

Our pilot project prioritizes affordability. On Thursday we utilize a familiar venue to create a positive and developmental environment for all participants. Athletes are encouraged to bring a warm-up volleyball and keep track of their equipment as they transition to a different court every 15 minutes.

Games unfold every Thursday from June 6 to July 25, spanning eight weeks and accommodating only 54 athletes. This developmental League is meticulously crafted to replace informal pickup games with structured peer learning guided by the principles of discovery learning.

Unlike traditional coaching models, our League refrains from direct instruction during games. Instead, players are encouraged to derive theory and skills from the dynamic environment, fostering experiential learning and enhancing self-reliance, independence, and creativity.

This approach might differ from conventional methods. Still, allowing players to shape their learning experience actively will lead to profound personal and athletic growth. For those seeking more instructional sessions, our academy offers regular classes dedicated to skill development.

Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we hope the unique experience our developmental League provides aligns with your expectations. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Remember, this isn't just a League; it's a groundbreaking venture into discovery learning, a pathway to building confidence, independence, and self-learning in our young athletes. Join us on this transformative journey, where each week brings new challenges and opportunities for growth.
