Athlete Level - Advanced

Advanced Level

  • Advanced (Grades 10-12, Competitive Players)
  • Who is it for? Athletes in Grades 10-12 with:
  • 2+ years of high school and/or club volleyball experience
  • Completion of 10+ academy sessions at lower tiers
  • Athletes with less than two years of playing experience are not advised to register for this session.
  • Focus: Advanced skills, high-level competition, and preparation for elite performance.
A refund will not be issued if the session's start date is within 7 days of the cancellation.
Each player must bring a volleyball to attend the session; the academy will not supply volleyballs.
Advanced (Grades 11–12)
This level challenges athletes to become dominant attackers who can terminate rallies at a high level of play. Training emphasizes precision, decision-making, and creativity against well-formed blocks and defenses. Athletes will learn advanced hitting strategies, including tooling the block, attacking seams, and mixing power with finesse. Sessions also focus on back-row attacking, transition offense, and consistently executing under game pressure. The goal is to make third contact a true weapon that secures points for the team.

These sessions aim to provide a quality experience by ensuring athletes register for the appropriate level, as choosing a tier that is too high can impede progress for the athlete and their peers.
