RSNB Day Camp – Building Strong Foundations

The RSNB Day Camp is designed to give athletes a solid foundation to build their volleyball future. With three courts running at the same time, athletes are grouped by experience and age to ensure the right level of challenge and learning.

Who’s it for?

• Rising Stars (Grades 3–6, Beginners) 2 hours,
  • For younger athletes who are brand new to volleyball.
  • Focus: Learning movement patterns and basic coordination to prepare for the next level.
• NexGen (Grades 6–8, Beginners) 2 hours
  • For athletes in Grades 6–8 who are new to the sport or have attended fewer than five Academy sessions.
  • Focus: Introducing the fundamentals of volleyball, including core skills and basic game understanding.
• Basic (Grades 6–10, Beginners with Some Experience) 3 hours
  • For athletes who have at least one year of organized volleyball,
    OR have completed 5+ NexGen sessions,
    OR have attended one four-day Academy camp.
  • Focus: Developing skills with more repetition and applying them to game-like situations.

Camp Format

• The hours are spent on the courts developing volleyball skills.
• The time will be used to highlight a different skill, and instruction is adapted to match the group’s level.
• Athletes progress through as many appropriate volleyball skills in an age- and skill-appropriate way.

The RSNB Day Camp is the perfect place for athletes to start their volleyball journey or to strengthen their foundation before moving into more advanced sessions.
