Fall Indoor Girls Volleyball League

The focus of this league is to provide athletes with a place to play volleyball if they did not make their school team. No refund will be given for missed nights.

Canadian Elite Academy – Developmental Volleyball League
For athletes who did not make their school team (Grades 7–12)

This League is designed exclusively for athletes who did not make their school team but still want the chance to play, grow, and compete. It provides a structured alternative to pickup games and focuses on discovery learning, where athletes learn through play, experience, and teamwork.

Key Details

  • Dates: September – First week of October 2025
  • Nights: THE FIRST THREE DAYS OF LEAGUE HAVE ALREADY PASSED, SO THE PRICE HAS BEEN DROPPED TO REFLECT THE ONES THAT ARE LEFT - 5/8 sessions (First four Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Last four Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 -7:00 pm)
  • Location: Henk Ruys Soccer Center
  • Capacity: Limited to 54 athletes (Grades 7–12)
  • Eligibility: Only athletes who did not make their school team may register
  • Refund Policy: No refunds for missed nights

League Format

  • Athletes are placed into nine-player teams (6 on the court, 3 substitutes).
  • Each night features six 15-minute games with rotating lineups and starting positions.
  • Athletes change courts every 15 minutes, playing with and against different teammates.
  • Weekly sorting: athletes are re-grouped into Top 18, Middle 18, and Bottom 18 based on cumulative points.

Scoring System

  • 3 points for a win
  • 1 point for a tie
  • 0 points for a loss
  • At the end of the league, the top athlete earns the title “Royalty of the Court.”

Developmental Focus

  • No direct coaching during games – athletes learn through experience, adaptability, and teamwork.
  • Emphasis on punctuality, fairness, accountability, and leadership.
  • Encourages self-reliance, independence, and creative problem-solving on the court.
